THE TRAVELLER

An Dunedin local has asked for your help in The Octagon today.
"I'm off on a quick trip," she explained, "would you look in on my little Lockie?"
"You'll need only feed him the once."

Lockie, a Madagascan tree snake, is just one of the obscure items the traveller has acquired which await you now. Has the traveller found a way to feed her carnivorous pet for weeks?  Or will you win your freedom?
You'll first need to find where to begin. That could be the biggest puzzle of them all.
Code breaking, observation and mental dexterity are just some of the skills that will be tested in 'The Traveller.'
The real test will be how you work as a team.  Be organised and communicate constantly.  Bounce every idea off someone else.  Your idea might seem crazy, or it might be right!
With just 60 minutes to escape, it will be the quickest hour of your life.
The key you seek is in the safe, guarded night and day by Lockie.  Do you have what it takes to escape?

CONTAGION

Your team of fellow scientists have been working tirelessly to create a vaccine for the fatal CYE disease. Some lost their lives in the process.  A secret military laboratory holds the last of the vaccine.
There are two options.  You either sit around and let it destroy you, or your team liberates the vaccine.
You must find a way to defeat the lock down on the laboratory. The quarantine timer is set to 60 minutes, after which the room and all traces of your work will be incinerated. You must succeed if humanity is to survive.Contagion demands 'outside the box' thinking with an array of problem solving, code-breaking, and high tech equipment.
